Academic Qualification
  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or comparable institution; or a professional qualification deemed to be equivalent

  • GMAT is not required but highly encouraged.

     

Language Proficiency Requirement

Since English is the medium of instruction, applicants should possess a good command of English, both written and spoken. If English was not the medium of instruction for the first degree, applicants are required to provide evidence of English proficiency as stated below:

  • TOEFL iBT: overall band score not lower than 79 (internet-based); or
  • IELTS (Academic): overall band score not lower than 6.5.

Documents Required for Application

A Personal Statement:

  • Applicants should submit a personal statement of not more than 500 words on their motivation to study the programme, as part of the application materials.

Two Referees:

  • Applicants have to supply the names of two referees qualified to provide information concerning the applicants' ability to compete the Programme satisfactorily.

Photocopies of:

  • HKID card (for local applicants); Passport or other identity documents of home country (for non-local applicants)
  • Degree certificate(s)/ graduation diploma(s), and transcript(s) for academic qualification(s) supporting the application
  • English proficiency test results (TOEFL/ IELTS results), if applicable
  • GMAT results, if applicable
Application Periods & Selection Process

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview*. We advise non-local applicants to apply early to allow sufficient time for applying for student visa.**  Admitted applicants from overseas or mainland China must obtain a student visa to study in Hong Kong.

* The Admission Panel will assess the motivation, maturity, communication skills, language proficiency, and suitability of the applicants for the programme at the interview. The interview will be group-based and interactive.

** All student visa applicants are advised to submit your application ahead of the deadline as it normally takes 10 - 12 weeks to process a visa.

Full-time application
Starting from 10 September 2024

Tuition

Tuition fee for 2025 intake is HK$393,000 (for non-local students) and HK$301,000 (for local students)

For Full-time mode students, tuition fee will be paid in 2 installments.

1. Complete the online application form.

2. Consider choosing one academic referee and one professional referee (for those with working experience). The academic referee should be able to comment on your academic ability and preferably have direct experience of your academic work. The professional referee can be your current or previous employer who should be able to assess your professional abilities.

3. Check the accuracy of your referee's email addresses as reference request emails are sent to your referees once you submit your application. Referees are contacted by the Academic Registry via email with detailed instructions on how to submit an online reference form.

4. Upload all the supporting documents together with the Application Form to the Academic Registry Website and pay the non-refundable application fee.

Student Visa

Students from overseas and Mainland China need a visa to study in Hong Kong. Please note the followings:

  • Applications should be made at least two months in advance
  • Students from Mainland China should submit their visa applications through the University. Detailed information will be given once admission is offered.
  • Students from other countries should enquire at their local Chinese Embassy or write to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.
  • Students needing help to find a visa sponsor should contact the Academic Registry.
